There are two great tools for auto-notification of new listings, price changes and sold properties. Please email or call me if you would like to subscribe to one or both of them (no charge).
(1) Personal Client’s Service (PCS)
This service emails you, the subscriber, an email link every time a new listing, price change or a sale occurs on Salt Spring Island through the Victoria Real Estate Board. Perhaps 90% of all MLS listings on Salt Spring Island are listed through the Victoria Board. To subscribe is simple, just email me and let know the price range and type of property you would like to be notified of (townhomes, vacant land, single family homes etc., or all). The price and type are the most common criteria entered but any number of detailed criteria can be input such as min. sq. footage of a house, size of a parcel etc.
The email link you receive leads to your own work space where all the listings accummulate, you have access to much more information on each listing than on the public www.realtor.ca . You can sort, delete, mark and view your listings any time. To enroll, simply email me your request.
(2) DATAWIZ
This is an exclusive updating service. It comprises of all MLS (regardless of the Real Estate Board) as well as non-mls when known (locally assembled information), sold to-date, price changes and, from time to time, real estate statistical information on Salt Spring Island. It is in pdf format, not clickable but each property is refernced by its MLS number if it is an MLS listing. Changes are simply marked on the left margin. The DATAWIZ is emailed approximately 2x per month and often accompanied by statistics and references to various related articles.
